ABOUT US
We started this with an idea. An idea that we hope can turn into something life changing. MIRAK is made up of only four 14 year old girls, Marina, Isabella, Abbey, and Kate, we are welcome to have any new partners. The R in MIRAK stands for respect because we believe that respect should always be the centre of attention toward benefiting. others. We all live in a small city called Burlington, in southern Ontario. We are doing the best that we can in making the world a better place, one step at a time.

Our main focus at MIRAK is for developing countries to have the access to resources, shelter, and human rights. Some resources that we feel are very important are water, food, and education. We strive to help others by providing supplies (e.g money, food, water, etc) to charities and other helpful organizations.

Our board of directors are community leaders, dedicated to the mission of creating immediate and lasting change in the lives of those in need. As shown above, the average amount of money that is donated to charities doesn't make it to only the charity. On average 30% of the money goes to employees and other people helping with the charity. With Mirak, over 90% of the money goes to the Cause we chose to support, and we are very grateful for your donations
